I'll try it out but it looks very weak…
This isn't rocket science…….Add coffee, add your hot water, press. I tried several of these recipes and they all taste the same. I would bet most people in a blind taste test would say the same………….
I’ve been using aeropress for about a year now, I found out about a world championship last week, now I just found out that the coffee used in 2019 is from El Salvador
I’m Salvadoran and I feel so proud right now!
Doesn't the company urge users NOT to brew upside-down? I was having a really hard time following this guidance because you're pouring water into an open chamber and immediately drips into the mug.
I find that coffee snobbism and f****ism go hand in hand. I bet if the competitions were judged blind, you wouldn't have so many whanmin winners.
now I need to learn how to determine the temperature of my water
Spa Reine water is Belgian not Dutch. Thank you 🙂
The ideal brewing method surely will vary depending on your beans and water. It'd be nice to have a video describing how to change the variables to amplify or dial down different results.
The recipe:
– Aeropress inverted
– 30gr coarse ground coffee
– 100gr soft water at 92*celsius
– aeropress spoon, stir 20 times
– Put the cap on with double filterpaper(rinsed)
– Push out excess air
At 40sec
– Flip and press
– Dilute with 120gr water at 92*celsius
Serve at 60*celsius
I'm new to the Aeropress and see that many recipes use 200 grams of water, then add water after brewing the coffee. Wouldn't just using more water to begin with result in a richer, more flavorful cup of coffee?
Very similar to the aeropress recipe by Tetsu Kasuya’s (World Brewers Cup champion and Japan Aeropress champion).

40 seconds from first infusion or after he takes out excess air?
I'm currently using around 12 grams of coffee (pre ground). It seems excessive to jump to thirty? I'll give it a go regardless.
I also invert my Aeropress. There's no real need to but it makes me feel good. And the coffee is awesome!
A small sidenote… the water used, Spa blauw, is not dutch but belgian.
This looks really interesting, thanks for sharing! It seems odd, though, to dilute with water at 92C, but then cool it down – why not simply dilute with water at, say 65C?
Spa water is not Dutch, it is from Belgium
Good job on doing such a great worldwide shipped content from Czechia! (fellow Czech creator here!)
Never heard of the AeroPress was on twitter and a nice guy told me about it.. i'm more of a Moccamaster guy.. i thought this was a camping thing. No idea it was a serious coffee tool haha…Greetings from The Netherlands.
Such a small yield
I don't like coffee
Thank you for the video, one thing though : SPA water is from Belgium! Not the Netherlands.
Was this using the Aeropress Go? And did the winning recipe also use the Aeropress Go or just a regular Aeropress? I have both but my Aeropress recipe doesn’t quite work as well for the Go since it’s smaller.
0.2g over, very unprofessional
What is the black cup you're using @2:09? I was unable to find it in the links.
Of course the champion was from the Netherlands, they have the best coffee off the shelf!
