You did a great job and it is good to know the possibilities, but it feels like cheating. I mean, it's the game problem for having this in the first place, not yours, you made a good compitation. I could just max out the skill with a cheat code with the same result as this 770% gain, and at least it would let my sim keep struggling in other areas of expertise… instead of getting amazing in everything overnight because i can't delete these super buffs (other than with another cheatcode). Honestly, sims 4 gives us too many tempting shortcuts, i kinda enjoyed having to struggle…

I had no idea that's what I was doing, I just called my sim an overachiever, though my goals are maybe slightly different. Sure I aim to have a super sim, but I want to get everything in the game, finish every aspiration, get every reward, etc. So far I noticed the skill gain is insanely fast and it's super useful considering my sim is a teen and she has to manage school and a part time job as well

Making a Super Sim has been fun for me. All the new traits are exciting to get and it makes me explore parts of the game I had not before. It's the most fun I've ever had with the childhood stage. I'd recommend having the Parenthood game pack.
I don't use clubs because I don't need to- I can be super without them 🙂

I used MCCC mod to set lifespan of ALL adult sims to 1000 days. It's fun when the sims in the city age as the same rate as you. You get see your college friends grow up, the NPC families grow over time instead of dying of old age all the time. The long life span also means your relationships and connections with the NPC sims are long lasting and it adds a sense of community and atmosphere to the cities over time.

I like to move my sim around but I don't like deleting households. So i move the households of the property I want to buy to Newcrest. Then i buy their old property. Moving around and rebuilding your house helps keep the game fresh too.

I wonder if the skill gains are additive or multiplicative. From testing it seems like they are actually multiplicative, considering that my Sim went from 1 to 10 in under a second when I stacked up all possible skill boosts: Top Notch Toddler, Study Spot, Home Studio etc, Snaggle Fluster, being Very Focused/Very Energized/Very Inspired , Micro Home, Vampire Child of the Night, Club, and so on

Why actually put effort in when you can just make a spellcaster, rush the immortality potion, then get killed by the mother plant for the “consumed by the mother” trait which removes need decay? Then you have all the time in the world to persue magic and skills. You can also start raising a family of your own, since your sim is now an indestructible juggernaut. Send them to do everything dangerous, it’s not like they can die.

I am going to try this challenge, however, I will try to give myself certain drawbacks, so it doesn't get boring.

    1) At least one negative personality trait (even if I decide to change her traits later, which can only be done by the potion), and at least 1 negative character value (more if I feel like it). This will increase the difficulty of the game, and you can't stack every trait in the game anyways; this way, you can create personality and storyline for your character.

    2) I have to live according to her personality; so if she is evil, I have to make sure to do some evil interactions fairly often, if she is clepto, she actually have to swipe stuff regularly, if she is a slob, she have to be somewhat messy, etc. This way, the 'negative' personality trait actually take effect on the game, instead of just being ignored. I also have to actually socialise at least twice a week, with an actual sim (not just through the phone), again, to make sure it becomes an actual experience, not just a 'machine'/chore.

    3) I will start off rags to riches style as a teenager; the mother 'accidentally' dies, all money is gone, and she moves to an empty lot, and this is where things really start. I will play on normal lifespan, and if I want to keep her teen or adult, I will have to buy the youth potion. This gives an actual reason to try and keep her happy, and fulfilling whims/aspirations, and it increase difficulty, as you can achieve traits slower.

    4) All skills must be achieved through activities; she can't just read a book, and call it that, she actually have to learn it. All reward traits have to be purchased in the order they appear in the store; that means she can't just choose to save for any one that is practical. I personally think I will refrain from any need related ones at all, until at the very last; The careers is what will take the longest to complete anyways. Again, this adds more need for a routine. The whole 'problem' with this challenge is that it gets too easy, and much like a 'machine' to accomplish the reward traits; this way, you actually remember to live their life, and stay true to their personality.

I am conflicted if I should refrain from using lot traits, micro homes and club bonuses, at least as an adult, as all the child bonus traits will make it easy enough with skill boosts, and the carriers will take longer to complete than the skills will anyways. I guess the challenge is more about living the journey, rather than the rewards alone. 🙂

I tried to do a Super Sim challenge and I took the never needs to sleep, eat, shower, or have fun stuff.. I was surprised that I found I missed the need to take care of my sim and didn't feel as fulfilled when my Sims didn't need to take care of themselves and just spent the entire day doing college stuff cause I was trying to have them get every single degree. Lost interest once I maxed all skills and most of the aspirations.

  8. Belladonna Poe says:

You should try this in the Sims 3! It's so much harder from what I remember, because you have to be very clear about what kind of Super Sim you want. Traits are actually important, like genius, creative, athletic, charismatic, virtuoso etc. The magical creatures are important to! (I would say genies are OP in that game, but fairies and vampires are a close second). There is so much more there, and the freeze needs rewards seem actually earned. (Also, there's a special trait you can get if you have a kid with a fire fighter, "Immune to Fire" and I think that's really fun)
I always found that if you want to play a game where you want things to be just so, you play the Sims 3. There is so much more you can do, and I honestly love it for that.
(Sims 2 would also be interesting, but the skills are really easy) 🙂
