I did a challenge for this, recently. Here were the requirements:

    1. Generate 8 young adult sims with random aspirations and traits. Gender doesn't matter – can be all male, all female, or a mix of both. Also start with $2000.
    * choose any trait/aspiration except those relating to fitness (I consider "outgoing" to be related to fitness), and all sims must be either completely obese, or completely anorexic.
    * all sims must have complete automation.
    2. Once all 8 sims are generated, remember the last sim you created. This will be your main sim (more on this later).
    3. All sims must live in a pre-generated 20×15 lot. I chose the lot on this video.
    4. You cannot build, destroy, or expand any walls within the pre-generated house. You can add items you bought, but you must make do with the space that you have. You can sell the items inside the house, and replace them with better stuff, if you want. If you build any item, you can add it into the house, but you cannot sell it.
    * you can't add any items around the house. Everything you add must be inside the house. The only exception is the mail box, which should already be there.
    5. All household sims must have two part-time jobs.
    6. The game must be played in at least 2 speed, barring certain conditions in which you must switch to 3 speed. You can switch to 3 speed whenever you want, but you cannot go below 2 speed. These are the following conditions:
    * if at least 4 sims are asleep, at work, or in class.
    * if at least 4 sims are out of the house.
    * any 4-sim combination of the above conditions.
    * also, you cannot "pause" the game and assign your sims tasks before resuming.
    7. You must choose "yes" to all notifications. For example, someone calls and asks for a $1000 donation, you must accept. Or, if someone calls and asks for a date, you must accept and complete that date (as in don't fail it, or finish early).
    * if someone calls and asks for your sim to hang out, you must accept and remain there for at least 2 in-game hours before going home.
    8. You cannot use reward items or cheats.
    9. At least 4 of your sims must complete the first step of the aspiration you created them with.
    10. All of your sims must be of at least middling fitness before graduation. I don't mean rank 5/10 fitness, but their physique; they must no longer appear obese or anorexic.
    11. All sims must have at least 3 classes per term.
    12. By, or before, graduation, all of your sims must have either a boyfriend or a girlfriend, and the friendship/romance bars on their partner must be maxed.
    13. Upon graduation, your sims must have a household grade average of a B or higher. This doesn't mean everyone has to graduate with at least a B, but the average graduating grade of the 8 sims must equal a B or higher. The point tally is as follows:
    * A = 4, B = 3, C= 2, D = 1, F = 0.
    * this means your household average grade must be at least 24 points.
    * for the purpose of tallying total points, ignore the + or – marks.
    14. All sims must graduate at the same time.
    15. Upon graduation, your main sim must have graduated with an A or higher. An A- is considered a failure for your main sim.
    16. Upon graduation, your main sim must have completed at least the second step of the aspiration you created them with.
    17. If any of your sims die, the challenge is a failure.

    Fellow simmers please help!

The packs are on sale so i'm wondering if I should get it. The only packs I don't have in terms of expansion packs are the eco life one and this university one. I wanna know is it worth it? Does it add a lot to the game overall?

I'm mainly a family based simmer. I like having big families and lots of generations. I'm debating getting the uni pack as I wondered whether it would be fun to have some of the kids go to uni as part of the gameplay. But does it really add all that much or should I just skip out on this particular pack?

    Thank you! 😀

I grew up "my child" in Sims 4 (and 3 more), I chose an academic goal. Well, I went to university, sort of like Foxbury was called. And in short, I did not take the laptop. And where can I get it now. I chose all four subjects (4 out of 4). I don’t know where I’ll get the money because study will take all the time. By the way, he has extra character trait: good manners and responsibility (I always did homework and soap dishes)

    eee google translate

I appreciate your positive reaction to the homes in the university city. I like it too. By the way, it's a shame when they write "fixing the house." as for me, they created a cool house, I built mine the other day from scratch, it took a couple of weeks and everything is exactly some kind of terrible crap

yeh no i'm not getting this LOL I have it on Origin in TS2 cos i have the Ultimate Collection and you just get bored of it so so fast and it's like since we can work on getting our sims Promoted in their jobs pretty quickly already What's the point of University? and it's just outdated now considering in real life Employers aren't taking College and University too seriously no more it's back to base level of the Skills you have cos Colleges and Unis just take your money without giving you anything real to use so… i think we can live without the University Expansion.

Honestly it's more fun as well working on getting Promoted because you have to make friends too and you get a few other perks too so you can send your Sims on a nice day out to make some friends 😛 most TS2 players have said the same… i'm sort of involved in the upload community so i read the forum posts and it's just not a popular thing to build Dorms either nobody wants to do that.

In TS2 you just needed the highest school grades, however they replaced it by keeping your Sims grades at C Level so you can skip that and just go to University LOL, but the fact in TS4 you still kind of need to get your Skills up in order to apply it really is counter-intuitive when you can just work on Skills towards getting them Promoted at home from the bottom like… University is still boring cos all it does is give you a "boost" to your chosen Career but that doesn't happen in real life anymore LOL and again it's like Why? when you can work right to the very top at your Sims home? meh…

So far honestly i only find 4 Expansions for TS4 truly worth getting which is Seasons, Cats and Dogs, City Living and Working Life, it has all the best stuff and more stuff plus you get more neighborhoods and more to do in the City, but Stuff Packs and the majority of Expansions it's just no different to TS2 and way less quality and less Content in comparison.

thank ou for the mini gameplay, i have played university. Took 4 classes and BOY was that busy, had to cheat to make it, the gameplay you showed will help me bc i did not know you could buy items and place them in the room. AND a frige, hahah just had a lady in my dorm that would cook and leave random food outside for everyone else to eat XD

and also to have roommates, golden! a tip that you didnt put in but will be better for money cost is that you can apply for more scholorschips, i had like 3-4 and didnt need to pay anything. Would it be in the real work i would probobaly get money back also if the cost was more then coverd
