It is $73 a day now. When I first booked it was 65.99. Although there is a a discount for the second person, they jacked the prices up to still be more than what it was in the beginning. It feels like a Kohl tag switch up. Thanks for the video. Now I know!
Drink packages are freaking ridiculously high!! Do you realize for a family of 4 it can amount to $600 for 5 days? This is for non alcoholic drinks. RC thinks we poop money when we go to the restroom??
I wish they would have packages for beer drinkers. I don't drink expensive cocktails so how about a deal for beers only?
My offer for cruise next January is $84 per person per day!
Is there a place where it talks about cancelation or changing fee for beverage prices?
Can you get a cheaper price if you call a representative?
I see people saying they don’t drink enough to benefit them on buying the package… I’m pretty sure I will drink enough to constitute purchasing the package for my wife and I
The problem with your theory is that if everyone books the drink package early what incentive does RK have to offer it for a discount?
I'm normally a fairly heavy drinker (especially on a Caribbean cruise in the heat) but we are going on a Mediterranean cruise next with only one full day at sea, all the other days are at ports. So, I think this time I'll try to avoid getting the deluxe drink package in hopes that I can bring wine back with me from the ports.
I usually drink when it’s happy hour.
What if I put the drink package in my cart but do not check out? Will that hold price?
This may seem like a stupid question, but does RC (Serenity of the Sea specifically) ONLY carry the liquors listed in the deluxe drink package flyer? For example, I don't see things like Fireball (my wife's favorite) or after dinner drinks like Sambuca, Amoretto, Baileys, etc. Do they carry that sort of stuff or is what you see is what you get? Thanks!
I am not seeing any option to cancel and rebook. It just says reserved and won’t let me make changes.
Is the drink package necessary if only one of us drinks?
Booked a soda package and non of the coke machine worked on the cruise..
I’ve been on several RC cruises. I have concluded that the drink package costs too much for most cruisers. It only makes sense if both occupants of a stateroom are raging alcoholics. If only one is a raging alcoholic, it’s a waste of money.
would it be good for a world tour with THEM
Thanks for this video. I didn't book my cruise through RC. I booked through CruiseDirect. If I want to purchase a drink package, can I purchase it through RC or do I need to purchase it through CruiseDirect?
What's the cheapest the packages go for? BOGO 50% off is the one I purchased for my October 2023 4 day cruise…
Look at J from shiplife just sitting in the bRoll like it's a where's Waldo adventure lol (9:09)
My last cruise I had two alcoholic drinks total on an 8 day cruise. Just doesn't make sense for me to purchase one. I'll never drink that much alcohol ever and I don't drink specialty coffees or much soda either. But some of my friends do drink alcohol and I've told them to purchase it on cruises because the drinks add up if you don't watch it!
Unless you are alcoholic these packages are waste of money considering in party of two you still have to buy two packages even if only one person is interested.
15 a day isn't enough for those of us that have high tolerance
Can you pre purchase water bottles for your stateroom? Also can you pre purchase alcohol for your room . Like carnival cruises? Thx in advance
Does the drink package with booze include bottled water service to your room?
Those 4-6 drinks are every day … even days that are full of excursions. So, if you're off the ship for 8 hours to go see something, you've got some catching up to do. And, hopefully you didn't stay up too late the night before getting your drinks! And, it's not really $60-90. It's $60-90 per day … which is an extra $300-500 … on the low end. And then double that because every adult has to buy the package. I tend to think the cruise lines offer it because it makes them extra money. I'll stick with my couple of beers on the cruise and be happy. C&A usually gives me a couple half off coupons anyway. Cheers.
