This just makes me SO angry! No one in their right mind pays 1,280B for a plate of anything in Thailand especially in a typical Thai kitchen. I rode my bike across Thailand THEN lived there for nearly 6 years.
Hell, if you want some excellent Tom yum, or green or red curry soup or fried rice, go see Nana and her mom at the Rooftop restaurant in Kamala on Phuket. Nana’s mom makes the best of these fried rices…and any Thai dish. They’ve even created stuff for me in the spot. And you’ll pay 30 to 60B.
Nearly 1,300B for fried rice! That’s outrageous and ridiculous!!
I am tom yum lover and i adore asian cuisine but , i dont understand why restaurant owners are not even try to be clean , they are cooking in dirty kitchen with dirty pans. Very Strange !!

Like I’ve filled the taste of all of this in my mouth the smell and the atmosphere in my body like I’m right there and right now. Oh my goodness
As a Johorean that is in love with Thai food religion and culture which is interconnected with Malaysia’s own culture during the Sriwijaya Buddhist period TomYam is my have to eat food every 2-3 days! And I just love seeing the ancient temples there. As a Malay however I’m ashamed to see my own culture facing extinction replaced by Arab plagiarism.
