I learned more and enhanced my drawing and editing skills through tutorials from Youtube and Google. Of course, I am guided with professional artists who are very generous in giving advice for my improvement. Before, I thought that if you are good in school, you are good in life. But it is so different. I am a school teacher (a freelance illustrator at the same time) but most of the time, I believe that grade doesn't always define success.
I just dont get it…. lets say i want to be a pc mechanical, why not spend the goddamn mid school and high school studying that? Why do i have to go through these 2 levels?
While it's important that you reassure low-achievers at school that they could succeed in life, it's equally important not to downplay the talent of high-achievers. Many motivational videos tend to build the confidence of low-achievers by stepping on high-achievers. As a valedictorian with low self-esteem, those videos are why I get mental breakdowns.

i'm 14 years old and english isn't my native language. BTW, i'm 3D artist, graphic designer, Web developer. but how? because i learned everything by my self. i don't need maths, science, Religion in my life. i want learn what i love. i have to do 100+ home works today. i felt really tired and depression. please i need help. i can't do this anymore. i want work on my own system. please help me.

i get that school is place where we get to learn "basic knowledge". As human being, it is required for us to learn these basic things for our brains. My problem with school is that literally teachers and parents will think that a test paper will determine our future which sounds dumb. WE DETERMINE OUR FUTURE not just some random piece of paper with number on it, Life is not all about school, life is more to than that. SO, i hope teachers and parents stop acting as if school will actually determine our destiny because it doesn't
hmmm while there is some truth to this in terms of running your own business, for most people there is a correlation between doing well at school and doing well in a career. As for love, I don't think schools have ever claimed to teach us how to be successful in relationships, so I don't think you can blame your schooling for a failure in this area.
Learning some interesting subjects and mostly useless shit I don't really need, like derivatives or some chem-physics stuff. Yeah, those are def cool and may get in handy, but do I really need to know it in those details? I have never blown something up, tho that's what usually happens in space, I have only learned it happens.
Now, where is fun in that?
Let me tell you all something. It doesn't matter what other people think of your work how good you did at something you did. Its all about what you think.
