And is it possible to express the sin(1) not through complex numbers? I think can
"Phaa öveür twö"
Using The Fundamental Teoreme of Alhogolism I can say that 1 degree = 1/100. Then using The Fundamental Teorem of Engeneering I can say that sin(1/100) = 1/100. So there is my very Fundamemtal answer.
Could you do a video where you find sin(1') in exact surd form using repeated applications of trigonometric addition formulae without complex numbers? 🙂
short answer: It cannot be written as a closed algebraic form
just wow!
Let's just pretend this is a simplification haha representing a real number using complex numbers

That was cool. FM is one of my favorite teachers. I'm straight up addicted to this channel.
jesus
now do cotg² of 0.0001º
1?
We've been over this, sin(x) = 1. 😛
Pah! 1/57.3 will do for me.
I’m fascinated that he doesn’t rhyme pi with I
I tried finding exact values for every integer degree by using the triple angle formula, and then by a quintic angle formula using a cubic substitution.
Do sin(pi degrees) exact
My brain was in radians when I saw the thumbnail
the title should have been sin(°)
There are N nth roots (e.g. 2 square roots and 90 90th roots). So, 89 out of 90 times the result is wrong [ and 1 out of 90 times the result is correctly = sin(1°) ]. Smaller N is always a better solution. What is the smallest integer N possible in this problem ? Answer N = 3. Why ? 3 sin(1°) – 4 sin^3(1°) = sin(3°) = sin(18° – 15°) = [ (s(3)+1) x (s(10)-s(2)) – (s(12)-2) x s(5+s(5)) ] / 16, where s(n^2) = n, i.e. s is the square root (sqrt) function. Use Cardano's (cubic) Formula to solve the cubic equation, S = sin(1°) where 64 S^3 – 48 S + [ (s(3)+1) x (s(10)-s(2)) – (s(12)-2) x s(5+s(5)) ] = 0. The resulting real radical expression is the final answer for sin(1°) and evaluates to S = sin(1°) = 0.01745240643728351…
You can use the fundamental theorem of engineering again to show that 1 degree = 1/60
Do you take cocaine before the … Nevermind.
what
sin(1°)~ pi/180 approximatly . XD
Well, that may be exact, by the method of notation abuse.
Seriously thought he had tourretes from 0:08 thru 0:20
I may only have understood about half of this, but damn your passion for mathematics made it worth watching. You're obviously a profoundly creative mathematical genius.
Wait degrees?
