So you’re telling me… we can’t get magical pets? No toads? Gosh… 🙁
I would really have loved some gameplay storyline with some traits, a couple magical careers and maybe an aspiration connected where you could become a Sage and contribute to stabilize the world, then live in it after. And also child had some special interactions in Makin Magic and I would have loved spells and maybe artifacts (on top of Potions, similar to amulets) that could be unlocked only as a child but give you a boost as an adult.
Obviously all this would have probably been an expansion, something more similar to Makin Magic but I would have definitely bought it.
Pretty much every lets play I ever see ends up with there being a child in the household. I don’t get what EA is saying assuming no one plays with kids. No one really plays with realm of magic.
I wonder what Plumbella's opinion on Mermaids is then if she's so fond of supernaturals. They're my favourite but still they feel a bit empty, as it feels like all they can do is.. swim.

You can have half blood and pure blood wizards/witches…… I didnt knew it before but someone said so in late 2020
I got it during the new year sale and I'm disappointed. I wanted to live in the magical world, not have my sim run to a gate to get there and need to return home to sleep. Like yeah, you could have a sim drink potions to stay there, but it's not the same. It came down to just spamming the interactions with the elders, and I beat the first aspiration for spells in like 2-4 hours. ☹ I made a potions based spellcaster afterwards, which is cool since I didn't realize you could use the cauldron to gain points because I ignored potions on the spell aspiration, but it still feels basically the same. I do like the atmosphere and I had fun with it, but I wanted more. Like my issues with vampires, I wish there were consequences for interacting with the non-occult. I want mobs chasing my vampires and sims refusing to date or befirend spellcasters, darn it! Sims are just so cool seeing a dark form of a vampire I don't see why I should bother to make one. And they don't blink when a familiar follows a sim.

I would have loved if Realm of Magic had included content for toddlers and children. Imagine a toddler casting zipzap and inferniate on all of your stuff because they like the pretty colours.

Kids need more to do. Toddlers are just annoying. As a result I give birth then age then up straight to teenager where they are actually playable.
If kids had more to do like being able to be a spellcaster I’d play with that age group of sims but until they do I just will skip that age.
Toddlers honestly I can’t see being anything but annoying.

I love this pack, my sim is always a witch, all I want is more occult sims, I'd like werewolves, zombies, more permeant plant sims, gimmie more so I can have an entire neighbourhood of madness.
In my opinion the building items suck, and your basicly just buying a power up for your sim that let's be honest it a tad bit over powered.

I absolutely adore this pack but I am not a fan of townies and other non-magic sims just randomly popping into the magical world (I always forget the name) and doing magic. Like, no Malcolm Landgraab, you were not meant to be a spellcaster. Please stay in your lane.

I am very late but I don't mind small worlds since then I can expect no issues with performance and FPS. If the world is small and have these issues…then its very bad than bad. xD
i stg with the amount of resources ea has the sims team has no right to overlook and disregard anything. also the children neglect oh wow….
