Rockstar made a big mistake choosing gta 5 over rdr..
"Red Dead online," doesn't that imply the first one not the second??
I can't play it now for the past year because it runs my fan on max. Newer console and has been cleaned recently. Only game that does it. Fan is literally is on full speed all the time when playing.
So what I'm getting from these reviews and players feedback is that RDR2 is pretty much rockstar's battlefield V, meaning that the devs pretty much stopped caring about the game enough to make it into a really good online experience like GTA:V. I was thinking it was gonna be a western themed GTA online
Red Dead redemption 2 online, grieving is encouraged at this point. Players who loved this game are getting no help from rock star and it's a glitch paradise. Fu rdr2 online!
i can say this is ultimate game for role playing.
i’ll never understand why they didn’t expand it like they did with gta5 they could’ve made so many different businesses and properties you could’ve bought hell maybe even customize your own ranch but no nothing like that

I remember when this first came out. Soooo much potential for the online aspect. Then massive connection issues, then no animals spawning for like a year lol…then roles hit and they were extremely underwhelming and seemingly half baked. R* ran this into the ground with greed and lack of community support. So sad really. We got nothing we asked for. No ranching, horse taming and selling, proper properties and hunting. Instead we got….outfits. Goofy ass looking outfits too. Who wouldn’t want to live out an old west, cowboy life online. It may not have been as big as their cash cow GTA, but if done the right way, it would have been very very close.
No it's not.when I think about gta v I'd rather play online then story mode but when I think of RDR2 I'd rather play story mode then online.BIG Difference

Ain’t no way red dead 2 was released 3 years ago……
RDO is great until you get to about level 100….. there is about hundred hours of fun to be had but then it dries up and get's very repetitive. I guess it boils down to how much you expect to get for your money. The major disappointment is that the game is so beautiful and the world is so great, there is so much missed potential….. I think that is where the player base is annoyed more than anything else…
Yes but take your time and don't rush the game, I found this out the hard way.
Man… oh man this game had so much potential…. R* really dropped the ball by not focusing on this game. I mean come on, just imagine being able to have properties, where you can sell crops or cattle etc. Or imagine more job rolls, such as a sheriff, farmer, butcher, store worker, builder etc etc. But no … if you have a posse you cant even contribute to the camp w/ criips. Is it worth it… eh i mean if your new YES 100%… but as a seasoned player, we just want updates..

As a level 200 player ive reached the point that it's not worth it anymore. This is due to the lack of updates by R* Once you get to a certain point there is just nothing to buy or do anymore. If you are a new player, by all means, play this game. There is about a years worth of content and it is a fun game. Just please understand that you will reach the point that there is nothing to do and you will learn that new content is NOT coming by R*

i feel so unappreciated as a fan really, the people in charge of this game are the new more corporate type of devs opposed to the rockstar devs who made gta in the 3d era up to red dead 2
now its just bugmen and take two shills doing anything to make a dollar, all their effort goes to gta online, the gold inflation/nerfing is so morally bankrupt

I've played since beta days and honestly beta days were better than this.
Ive been around for a bit and honestly the lack of updates has been bad no doubt but recently it's the community I've been having issues with recently. Most lobbies from my experience have been filled with toxic 5 or 7 man posses just spamming dyna arrows and e rounds at everyone and if it isn't a posse doing it it's people using god mode or are off radar
Red dead online is terrible game
It had potential to become something special but due to poor managment, lack of direction, bad design choices and an awful treatment of it's community RDO is now on life support being kept in this state just because Rockstar still rely on new players willing to drop real money right out of the gate to skip the endless grind. Unless something really great is done to this game, probably will not survive another year of crappy support and updates.

Not worth it, r* gave up on a potentially lucrative game. This game had a lot of potential and a great fan base
It's worth it only if you are a fresh new player. Long time players moved on ages ago.
