The tipping has gotten out of control. Tip jars at coffee shop, continental breakfast at hotel, take n bake pizza , UPS store and every misc place you can think of ..Now I don't get tipped at my job I don't tip fast food workers I rarely tip the guy pumping my gas .So why should I have to pay 22% to anyone in the state of Oregon all waitstaff has to be paid min wage Oregon hell the whole west coast is tip credit exempt so min wage in Portland is $14..So again 22% on top I will personally put my own order in and pick my own plate were already processing the payment at the table at some restaurants ..It's just feels like everyone has there hand out .If you want more you have to work for it I took my first job in fastfood did it for six months and it was not for me .My next job took me to housekeeping at a hotel.again not for me landscaping again not for me .Blue collar work is where landed not perfect but pay was always better benefits better overtime dirty long hour 60 plus hours a week dirt under my nails taught and absorbed knowledge from engineers janitors .Nothing zero was handed to me I ate Bar s hotdogs scrimped saved worked hard changed jobs always moving up learning and earning kept moving up .If you believe that the feds or state government can pull you out of poverty your highly mistaken there will always be the haves and the have nots ..Get off your arse and work for it

If a waiter or waitress is waring a Mask I make it a POINT NOT TO TIP them at the end of my meal. Sometimes I will not even pay for the meal and walk out

Franky a 22% "service fee" isn't enough for having to deal with all the anti-mask right wingers and over-demanding Karens that restaurant workers are inundated with on a daily basis.
Don't turn what is supposed to be gratitude for a job well done into subsidizing your payroll costs…..raise prices…..stopped going to these gratuity included places because the service was never excellent unfortunately…
A tip is gratuity, you are raised on your service and this is crap and quite frankly I think they will loose business, I won’t be going there

what a …trip. I have worked in restaurants, tips mean nothing they are a surcharge to get us to pay a fair wage, funning with money.., pay your workers fairly… be up front!!
