My 7 Pro seems to ghost touch only when the device is being used in 45°F/7°C or colder temperatures. It doesn't happen right away, once a good portion of the device temperature cools to a certain threshold, it starts ghost touching. Definitely a hardware issue in my case.
It happens when phone is in pocket.

I have one plus 7t and it's really annoying multiple touch doesn't work properly
I have never had this problem with mine. But if I open cpu-z it does trigger it and the phone needs a reboot.
I think what's going on is there is some software bug that's causing the phone to freak out when a app polls the touchscreen sensor in a certain manner.
Quite possibly the interval at which it polls the sensor, simply because my phone doesn't have this issue unless I run cpu-z.

Did you even enabled nfc? Ghost touch only happens when nfc is turned on
Ghost = CPU-Z + NFC on.
Some users in the Oneplus forum report that they didn't have the problem at all when they where on Oxygen OS 9.5.1 (the first version the phone came to them). The problem started when they updated for the first time. Are you on the same version or updated? This might justify that there is a software problem that Oneplus is about to fix….hope so because I was about to buy it and this situation scared me off….
