What kind of finish do you apply to your wood/resin pieces?
Amazing work as always. Do you find that the banskia pods jave a lot of voids to fill when carving them?
I absolutely love your videos! You cover exactly the right amount of each stage of your projects. Thank you so much for the inspiration!
Very nice indeed. Quite creative and thanks for sharing
Wow inspiring craft… it is in the blood and the budding artist at the end, I'm sure he will develop the passion like his papa… good show… Ontario Canada…
totally think you should repair art award and put in some sort of epoxy gig
🙂
Salem your work is absolutely stunning and breathtakingly beautiful. On top of that you are so humble. To our God be the glory for you and your work. You are amazing.
Love your sense of irony. Probably influences your work?
Great work
Salem your work are amazing and stunning I love the combination of resin and wood also in woodturning and segmented work. You go on youngman one day you are going to take all the gold medals. God bless you.
Bit of a dumb question, but these kutzall burrs would work on a dremel brand rotary tool too right? Those things look like they eat wood.
hola buenas noches ,, ¿ que tipo de madera utilizas para las esculturas ??
wow great, thank you
Thanks for letting us into your world
Wow so beautiful
impressive work
what's the pressure in the tank. got me thinkin.
I love your work. I have become a full time woodturner since becoming permanently handicapped in 2013. I have a question if I may…what did you use as a gasket to seal your homemade pressure pot. Thank you in advance. My email is steve.stover@verizon.net.
Fantastic work. Does the pressure work better on the resin than a vacuum chamber??
My wife and I had the pleasure of talking with you in Lancaster yesterday right before the rain. Love your work, the video and sharing the process.
man.. i really enjoyed watching this.. really fun. and beautiful work, keep on keeping on! I'm just a young newbie experimenting with paint pressure tanks, 2×4's and alumilite. stuff is addicting, thats for sure!
Spoke with you at the Barrington art fest. I was the amateur turner in awe of your work. Probably don’t remember me because so many people stopped by to admire your work. Just wanted to say I’ve watched nearly all of your videos and I’m truly jealous of your style and work. Keep em coming! Hope to see more at some other local art shows!
Thank you, very beautiful. I never could build this bkz it needs practical experience. thanks.
Your work is amazing, and inspirational. Thanks for taking the time to make and share this video.
Well-deserved awards, Salem. Your work is gorgeous and inspirational.
Beautiful work!!
I make guitars, And do a lot of contouring. What Kutzall bit should i try first?
Also, You're easily my favorite wood carver. What are the chances one could pay you for lessons some time?
Thanks for all the behind the scenes stuff, though a timelapse of the sanding process would have been great.
I've been spending the past week doing my first inlay with colored resin, but in aluminum. I cnc'd the design 100 thou deep, pressure cast, and spent today going through the sanding process up to 2500. Going to try buffing tomorrow.
Any tips to getting a beautiful finish like yours?
