If you have a scientific calculator and your lazy as me you can do :
Sin -¹ ( ½ ) = 30
Then you subtract 180 – 30 = 150
If you are using a negative value do:
Sin-¹ ( -½ ) = -30
The first value will be :
360 + ( -30) = 330
The 2nd value will be 540 subtract the first value :
540 – 330 = 210
This only works when they ask for two values which is more common anyways
bless your soul

This video helped me so much, thank you!
This video helped me so much, thank you!
Clear + concise = clutch video. Thank you
LIFE SAVER FRRRRRR, tyty
Thnku sir
Thanks so much for this
1:53 i don't understand how you came up with the angles so fast that you ended finding one of the values of theta already. please explain to me how you got the angles
You can also use a unit circle and then just look at that, but this way is nice too mostly if your fraction isn't on the unit circle. The only fractions on the unit circle are positive & negative 1/2, √2/2, and √3/2 you can also find like csc, sec, and cot there but you have to like reverse the fraction and stuff
Nice mic my boah
Cheers my dude, my uni has basically decided that videos of an old guy mumbling count as teaching since lockdown started, so I rely on videos from people who actually have a passion for this to actually teach me. You and many others always have my gratitude
Thanks buddy
How do I determine that the angle is 30°? What is the equation to find that?
dude the way u explain is amazing ty sm
excuse me sir, does the y/r rule work for cosine and tangent or only sin functions?
Hi sir can you explain how to find such a detha when the triangle is not forming special right triangle for example sin detha = 4/5, thank you sir
Thx
my mans holding the snowball like an absolute king
Thanks
Thank you soooooooo much!!!!!
what if the values is not in the unit circle?
Kya bak rhe h ye
understood it perfectly but if the problem reads sin theta = -1 can I use this way of solving? I mean sin theta is not a fraction in this case, can you explain?
what if it says sine theta=-1 and cosine theta=-1 ?
Vizuri sana
First speak clearly
But why is x=sqrt (3)
i don't know why school is teaching us this, how is this gonna be needed? no idea but thanks man
That is a wierd microphone
There can me more answers right because there's no limit of angles if the angles are infinite then the value of theta which will satisfy the equation must be infinite as well.
Just a doubt … please clear it
Used this on my math quiz, thx u, I’m in quarantine rn lol, and this helped a lot
So how do you figure out a negative one of those?
Thankyou, so much
