No matter how many times I watch that, That ALWAYS gets me. I know I shouldn't laugh because obviously that is a very serious situation but just the sheer disgust, and disdain and loathe in Gordon's voice and facial expressions just breaks me every time over such a stupid reply. XD

I think a lot of these owners are pathetic. They pass the buck and blame their staff for things like a "lack of supervision". Yeah, lack of supervision FROM YOU. You are the owner! No matter whom you hired to do what, everything is on your hands at the end of the day. If you're too old to be involved in the day to day supervision of operations like the "chief" here, then maybe it's time you sell the business to someone who isn't and move on and enjoy your so-called "golden" years. I personally think a lot of these owners just want to be able to say they are a "small business owner" or a "restaurateur" so they can feel important and successful despite not wanting to do the actual work that is required of an owner/restaurateur. Blaming your management staff and then acting as if you're just totally fucking clueless about what's going on behind the green door of your own establishment leaves me with NO respect for them and of the opinion that the issues the restaurant is facing is as much their fault as it is anyone else's.

If he came to where I live most of the restaurants will be shut in no time. People just want to make money but they will serve anything. Food is not a product, it's a part of people's life, emotions, health physical and mental. A person getting a good healthy delicious meal is the most happiest person. Until you learn that don't get into the restaurant business.

My grandfather told me when I was literally 8 years old that raw meat cannot touch food that's already cooked and that you have to wash your hands every time you touch raw meat. I cannot believe amateurs of this level literally own restaurants and I had trouble finding my current job. Completely ridiculous.
