The best game I’ve played in a very long time
Bland characters.
I would've preferred it be more like FF15 or at least like Dark Siders Genesis.
Just got this game for only 4 bucks in 2021 lol hope it's as fun as it seems and as awesome as the comics were!

I dismissed this game for a number of years now. But it is on sale right now on Google Play as a part of the Black Friday deals. I just bought it and man…I am loving it. I was a fool to dismiss this game for so long.

Looking at this after Ruined King was announced, I'll have to give this game a go. Visually similar to Thronebreaker, really love that art style and style of overworld.
Anime huh. It was based on a Comic book. And it is a RPG not JRPG.
Yesterday I bought the Kingdoms of Amalur remake for $45 and was going to try Battle Chasers for free off Xbox Game Pass while I waited for that game to finish downloading. Instead, I spent my entire holiday playing this game! When I saw it was a comic in the 90s I realized they wouldn't be able to go too crazy with the story, but I enjoyed the game mechanics and systems enough to not really mind that much.
Damn he sounded like he was about to give it 5 or a 6 review.

Your only criticism is not even a bad thing. Not every game is about deep characters with deep feelings and deep tragedy, sometimes it's simple Mario Bros trying to save the day and kill some animals. So, you convinved me, I want this game.

Gaw Damn! i heard Turn-Based RPG and was about to bounce, but i saw the gameplay and it looks fantastic, i need it in my life.
The gameplay means squat if the story is boring and uninteresting

Looks like a World of Warcraft JRPG. But if one of these doesn't have a compelling story, I don't see the point. I'll pass.

The best rpg game all time (me) classic and story
BUY, BUY TWICE! Took a little of a learning curve to get used to the game but a quarter into the game it’s WOW! One of the best games I’ve played in a very long time. I bought it for both the Switch and the PS4. Side note I’ve collected most of the Battle Chasers comic book along with the variant covers and have been a Joe Mad! fan ever since. So happy to hear that his art an this video game is appreciated.
