Saw those mountains and recognized where you were immediately. Instant sub, I grew up there. Love the sentiments at the end; 100% agree. Are the files available to download?
I want to practice flying the plane using realflight evolution simulator so I can be confident beofore flying the plane I put alot of work into building and painting and such. What aircraft is closest to it?
Funny – what people call "micro" is my ideal wingspan of all my planes – in fact 20-28 inches is the sweet spot for pure fun. Nice simple plane. Bookmarked that website. I don't own a 3d printer but if I see enough of these smaller planes showing up I'm gonna go for it. Warbirds? If I see a "micro" zero 3D plan with detail, I'm gonna go nuts. My wallet is frightened. Clearly this is the future with prices everywhere gone sky high.
Please use the Metric System as all humans on this world do.
awesome, might print one honestly, ive never had a plane and i have a 3d printer and time sooo, here i am
My AUW using PLA+ was 425g. The suggested motor, prop and battery not strong enough to get it off the ground. Definitely need lightweight PLA.
I used the link from the pdf for EMAX ES9251 II and the company only ships in the usa and im in Canada I dont want to get the wrong one from a different company, so do you know where I could order some from?
That`s no the future!!!
I accidentally installed my horizontal stabilizers right side up is that an issue?
Do you print all the parts on the print bed at once or piece by piece?
keep the rest of video aside, the last few seconds are worth it.
Do you think something like this could be printed on a resin printer?
What is the minimum build volume required for the printer?
Thanks for sharing this wonderful plane. I'm trying to print, and I'm very excited about building a new plane. And you shared all of the general PLA, LW PLa , and Gcode, which is very helpful for comparison.
Great design and video! I downloaded your plans & files & this will be my first attempt to print a RC airplane on my Ender 3 V2.
"Light PLA" per roll is $120 at the cheapest, with shipping. I found one with free shipping but was still $120. That is an incredible cost for a DIY toy making material. I have yet to see an RC plane printed from PLA. Thats alot of work for something nobody else has done. Do ya have any video of a regular PLA in flight?
why didn't you look online for a pre-built plane with a top pusher configuration and look at the motor angle
just got ordering parts for my build. lets hope for the best
Really awesome plane and video! As a Canadian I really appreciate sub 250 micro videos because it's all we are allowed to fly without basically applying for a pilots license lol.
angle the motor to counter the motor momentum is a good idea, but making a inverted wing foil on the tail causes down elevator at high speeds without throttle, still love the design and this will be my first 3d printed airplane
So, you put a link in the description for everything EXCEPT the airplane? Genius.
What percent infill is used for normal pla?
CAN YOU PRINT ON ENDER 3
You are awesome!
please make it freeeeeee
Nice nice, is it possible to use 2S 18650 Li-Ion battery?
Mashaa Allah tabarakAllah. Great journey there. I'm starting to design my own 3d printed plane, begin with A-10 pusher to give longer flight time than EDF.
Thanks for making this video. Stay safe and stay healthy.
