I was going to pick up the Jumbo Edition on Switch, but it looks like there are at least two expansion packs that won't be included. What gives? What's the point of issuing a revised retail edition if new content is still being released for it elsewhere? Why not wait until the entire game is complete? Charge more for such an edition, but I'm not going to keep buying an indefinite number of versions of the game every time another expansion or two are added.

Will I have to buy Jumbo XL when the next two expansions are available? And what about any expansions after that?

I really enjoyed the game (I played Theme Hospital as a kid), and I'd love to own a complete physical copy of the game, but this sort of practice is not how you instill goodwill in the fanbase (and I don't want to buy the DLC via the eShop if there is a physical option). A separate physical edition that only contained the expansion pack missions would have made more sense in this instance, at least until the team decides that they are going to cease development and that the game is well and truly complete, in which case, a complete edition would have made more sense.
