I'm from Argentina and know Spanish and English, and a nice bit of Russian xd
It's fun, but sometimes I forget my own words in Spanish, and come up with the equivalent word in English or Russian, it's annoying sometimes but happy, as I can have the chance to talk and express myself to other people from outside my country. Still have a lot to learn though
So, What are the best language to learn?
Trilangual here and sometimes I'm not even sure which language I'm thinking in. It's strange and hard to explain to people.
The benefits are certain in regards to the brain health, but with different languages come different cultures. As fortunate as I was to be raised as a bilingual, I also had to overcome an identity crisis. Anyone with similar experience? Neither of my parents spoke English at all, so English was not even my mother tongue.
I learned english when i was 6 years old , watching cartoons on tv and by the time i learned it in school at age 8, i already knowed almost all words and how to speak it.
Growing up in a cosmopolitan Indian society where everyone is from different regions we usually don't understand how cool multilingualism is but when we go abroad we realise how it actually helps our brain so much in the long run. I am myself Pentalingual now going for my sixth language.
As a person who speaks 5 languages, it isn’t that hard!
Sometimes your mother toungue language sounds better
The fact that some people choose to be monolingual baffles my mind, knowing multiple languages is the best thing ever, you see the world in a totally different way.
Cool but what about 4 languages? I speak four and write in 3. Does this make any difference?
i’m learning spanish 🙂
fun fact i am a half trilingual cux ik english hindi and urdu but urdu is basically hard to distinguish and teach hindi+farsi script so what tf should i say rn

We indians know at lest 3 languages by birth. I know 5 btw.
My brain definitely works different but I think it’s because of my experiences and what I’ve learned from them not so much the four five six languages I spoke read or wrote in but cool vid.
When you live in a country witch forces you to speak 2 of the 4 national languages and english. So you're required to be trilugual

I know my country language and English (not much)
I am proud of myself then—local dialect: ilocano, national language: Tagalog, and international language: English.

I speak 2 languages. I will just learn a 3 one to feel like how is being a trilingual
