Love the 1980s music vibe haha
Beautifully explained☺
why can't we just just feed farm animals termites?
we could farm termites for livestock feed on waste wood and sawdust
hell, why cant we just directly feed humans termite meal?
termite meal sounds like it tastes terrible
that means its probably super heathy, right?
Thought my test was boring this was a find fuck tho lol
I really love this! Thank you for uploading it 🙂
tqsm for uploading !! its really helpful 🙂
What was the last part of the video for?
What is more fascinating is that Mixotricha paradoxa (the organism inside the termite) also has symbiotic bacteria inside (and outside) it.
It does not have mitochondrion, but have some spherical bacteria inside which function as mitochondria.
Even the cellulose isn't digested by it, but by others endosymbiont bacterias.
For locomotion, about 250,000 Treponema spirochaetes are attached to Mixotricha's surface and provide cilia-like movements to it. These bacteria are also attached to another rod-shaped bacteria in the surface of the cell.
It's a symbiont inception.
Nice video. Another interesting example of symbiosis would be the bacteria inside the stomachs of sloths to allow them to digest leaves. Without the bacteria, the sloths would die, if it gets too cold and the bacteria die, sloths will starve to death on a full stomach. Even we have symbiosis with bacteria, there are more bacterial cells inside us than human cells.
3:42 It's a pacman cell!
can anybody give the procedure so that i can prctcly do this in my college please……….
Great info!!
this proves evolution to be extremely false, which one evolved first the termites or the organisms in the termite?
