Oo a soi we actually (partly) went down! We came onto this when going down Soi Cowboy. Like you, we visited during the day – we are a bit too old & lazy for the nightlife these days, sadly (from your comments, I think we're about the same age so I'm sure you can relate to this). Probably a bit scared as well if we're being honest – I've partied in my time but Bangkok might be a bit too wild for me. Soi Cowboy would have terrified me at night I'm sure. Having said that, I'm sure I would have loved it in the 90s. I'm sure other vloggers cover Soi Cowboy at night, so I'll have a look, I'm curious now. As you say in the comments below, your camera wouldn't be welcome then. Interesting there's a Lawsons – I never saw a proper one in the city, only a small one at at a BTS station. Like Family Mart, I bet it had some nice Japanese foodie goodies. I had to freeze @ 5.43 to see that they have Takoyaki – very cool indeed. Not sure if it's practical, or even of interest to anyone except me, but ever thought of reviewing convenience stores? I love browsing the food & random stuff in them. When I saw them I felt the Japanese chains in Bangkok live in a parallel universe, it was like being in Toyko. You've reviewed food from some 7 Elevens before, and I bet if not the stores, the Onigiri rice balls are worth an examination. That Japanese plaza @ 5.56 – I saw Korean Hangul writing, could it be Korean/ Japanese? Minor point and a very subtle difference but I'm a Korea geek so spotted that. I believe it's quite common for Koreans to run Japanese restaurants that also offer Korean food; where I live in the UK we have one like that. I did enjoy the cat cameo. Much fun as always, literally LOLd a few times at your comments like the cat & at Pak's bakery @ 9.25. Brilliant! I think we share a sense of humour. If you like looking & food & random streets, this is the channel for you – and this is my 2 of my mains interests in life! Thanks EastSleepBangkok – exploring the streets so we don't have to.
