Rewatchable, this was amazingly well done. Honestly, it's something that you'd think would be shown at school for one of those school assembly talks but like a thousand times better. The storytelling, the subtleties, the realities??? The camera work and everything, it's so good. (Also I love the call back to Frostbite so there's that)

Tips to actually being careful online:
Don’t give out information unless you’ve actually met the person in person before (even then, be careful with that as well)
If you plan to meet, always meet in the morning in a crowded area, if they refuse to do so just don’t meet them
Always make sure to get MULTIPLE pictures from different places and angles (I know this sounds creepy but here’s why) it makes sure that they’re at least a living person and not someone from the internet, also always check images by searching what they look like to make sure they didn’t get the picture off google (it could be because they’re a creep or because they are a catfish, either way not a good way to start a relationship)
Smaller things you can do:
Ask them what they did that day, most minor’s aren’t doing the same thing every day, so if you start to notice a pattern of what they learned in school, what they ate for breakfast (or whatever meal), what time they woke up, people won’t always give the same answers for all these questions, so if they do consider ending the conversation
When you plan to meet that person, bring either a friend or a trusted adult (again in a crowded area), even if you’re in a area with a lot of people the person could find a way to get you alone or to get you into a car or something like that, having a trusted friend or adult there at least gives an eye witness if anything
Be safe and honestly just don’t be stupid, if your parents say no to meeting the person just listen to them, you can meet them when you’re old enough to move out or when your parents change their minds

I was soooo uncomfortable, skipped to the end and then, saw the endding and had to watch it all.. I was kinda confused but well done! you did creep me out with the creep ! xD
That was so well done! I'm glad it had a happy ending, I was definitely not expecting it. As someone who is now dating someone I've met online, despite always being cautious of it, this story was pretty interesting to me. I think it's so so important to meet an online stranger in a public place first. Also let friends/family know about it. Never be too trusting! Get them to show themselves on camera so you're sure they're who they say they are. And actually get to know them first. Be sure you can trust them.
That being said, meeting someone online can be such a wonderful thing, because you will usually know them because of their interests. You might find so many things in common right off the bat and hit it off. It's not just about looks and you can actually connect. My now bf and I were talking for quite a few months before meeting irl. I was seriously wary of it all because he's pretty good looking, but he had no problem showing himself on camera. We also mostly talked through voice calls, so that was pretty different from just texting. This was during lockdown, neither of us was anxious to meet the other as we were just enjoying ourselves, so by the time I was going back to uni I was the one who wanted to meet him and see how it went. By that time I had even seen his id
