This video is wrong. The sizes are .85 oz is a Ristretto, 1.35 oz espresso and 3.75 is a Lungo. The machine does the first two right out of the box but the Lungo must be programmed. To do that you simply put the pod in after the lights are done flashing and press and hold the espresso button until you reached your desired level. From that point on it will brew to that level.
which button do you push on top of the Pixie for the LUNGO capsule? The same one as for the single shot and the machine will adjust to the LUNGO CAPSULE?

Whoever asked this coffee noob to make this video should be fired. Double shot espresso is 2x espresso in a cup, Lungo is just a longer and more extraction with the same grinds.

Sorry for confusion in this video. Lungo is longer shot of espresso where Double shot is 2 single shots of espresso (so you would use 2 capsules). Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com.
I'm still confused. I always thought lungo is not a double shot espresso. I still wanted to b clear how to do a double shot espresso. what i usually do is i press the espresso button twice. yea im that noob. can someone enlighten me? thanks 🙂
You don't say anything about which button to press and how it relates to the specific capsule you are using.
There are 3 amounts: 25ml, 40ml and 110ml (LUNGO).
Nope… espresso is 1 oz (30ml) shot and ristretto is half of it so 0.5oz= 15ml
ristretto is a 1.5 oz shot about 10 second pour and no more i enjoy them often as i lile the intense flavors of coffee
