I’ve been looking at a few reviews, but this was the best by far! Really appreciate the vlog, thorough run down, and seeing you guys play! More of this please.
the comment about having your phone always in your pocket. can you use the sensors with a not network activated phone?
Will this work @ the driving range?
So what happens if you are just off the green for example and you use a 7 iron with a putter stroke just to bump and run in on etc. Will it record thr 7 iron went 10 yards let's say ?
What is the cost after the free trial?
Was going to buy it as a gift for father's day until I saw how much the subscription is a year.
SOMEONE TELL ME WHY ARCCOS APP REQUIRES CONSTANT LOCATION TRACKING EVEN WHEN NOT PLAYING GOLF???
Here's a timeline of my interaction with Arccos:
1. March 30th, 2022: Purchased new Ping golf clubs. Received an "offer" to get free sensors for my club. When registering there was an option to purchase an additional piece of equipment which I was unaware that I didn't need for the sensors to work.
2. March 30th, 2022: When I realized my mistake, I reached out immediately to cancel this order.
3. March 31st, 2022: I heard nothing back from customer service so I reached out again.
4. March 31st, 2022: I then received a notification that my order with tracking number 9205590280576434539059 had shipped. Please note that I had been trying to cancel this order for 2 days.
Per the below screenshot the shipment was not even tendered to USPS until 8:55 PM and Arccos had plenty of time to stop this item from shipping.
5. On March 31st, 2022 I was told that my return would be accepted but I would have to pay for the return shipping. I refused and said that I tried cancelling this order within 2 hours of placing the order and had even made contact with a support representative when the package was still in possession of Arccos.
6. April 4th, 2022: I was then told that I would be given a prepaid return label.
7. April 14th, 2022: Item was shipped back, unopened vias USPS tracking 9302 2108 9960 0013 6345 05. This item was delivered to Arccos on 4/20/2022.
8. On April 20th, 2022 I was told by Arccos that I would have a refund issued today. As of 4/26/2022 this refund has not been received and in subsequent conversations I've now been told Arccos is unable to refund my order due to their system being unable to process this transaction.
9. Here is the screenshot of them telling me they can’t issue me a refund after they said they would in writing 6 days prior.
What concerns me is I hit multiple kinds of shots with my 9, PW, AW, SW, LW …. I don't hit these clubs with a full shot all the time. The 9 for example, I play it from 140 with a full shot but I also have an abbreviated swing that I play at 120. This will give a false avg yardage for this club right? I almost always use my 9 from 115-120 and almost hit it like wedge – I do the same with my wedges, for example my PW full swing is 128, but I'm also hitting that same club from 90-100 with a half swing…. It's two different swings with the same club so how will that work?
Good vid could have done without the super cheesy library music which was really off putting
Does to calculate chances of shaking my shot?
Please review with apple watch!
Before the review starts… their telling us how its gonna help us…. biased review. Disappointed
Nahhhh, not for me. Keep it simple and enjoy the game for what it is. Leave the tech for when you’re staring at the computer/phone screen for the rest of the day….
Do you leave them in the grip after you’ve done or take them out and have to put them back on each round. ( for the screw in once’s ) thanks.
Phone battery will hardly last 2 hours with the app let alone 4
I feel like this is a phone battery killer. Also hate having my phone in my pocket when playing golf. These things are pointless
I have two questions about battery usage. I have tried using my phone as a course GPS in the past and found that I couldn't get through 18 holes with a fully charged battery. My battery usage is generally good. How do you find your phone battery life using the Arccos system? Second, what is the battery life of the Arccos units that screw into the butt of the club?
Any conflict with the sensors if I have tungsten powder in the shaft for added swing weight? If I have a wireless printer using WIFI, can I then print out the results of each round to create a notebook of my progress? How long is the battery life of the sensors?
Good promotion video. Nevertheless, a few questions: How accurate is the recording of the strokes? Are trial swings hidden? What happens if a stroke is repeated (ball lost). How long do the sensors' batteries last? Are the batteries replaceable? Thanks in advance!
What do you have to input during the round? Do have to say your moving onto the next hole? Do you have to input the club your using each time or can you start round and then forget until your finished? Have yet to see a review that runs through how much input is required during the round
Would you recommend still using and owning a ranger finder if you have the full Arccos set up?
Very solid review!
The system does not allow u to adjust your Strickland play when it does not capture you strok play and any thing in this video does not represent what happen when playing golf.
I have an Apple Watch series 5. 9 holes takes more than 50% of the battery. Played at 8a. Watch batter was 98% at start. Died on 18th.
Great video as usual, please change the music which is annoying!
Do you guys find that this helps you find your ball better on the course too?
In the 18 Birdies app I can track my shots and tie the distances to my clubs, it also makes recommendations. Does this system do anything that 18 birdies doesn’t?
I have been playing with Garmin last 4 years. Can I import these data to Arcoss?
so if you have an apple watch then you dont need to get a caddie? is there any other advantages to having the caddie?
Good review, guys! I've been using Arccos for about a year and it's been a great help to my game for all the reasons you've covered. Really impressive system. I would add that if you like to fiddle with your bag and swap clubs out a lot, definitely go for the screw-in sensors. I've had a few fail, but considering they're getting banged around a good bit, they're pretty sturdy. And they're fairly cheap to replace. I'm pretty sensitive to weight changes in my clubs and I noticed no change at all with the sensors in. It misses a shot now and then, but editing is super easy.
How does it work with practice swings? Does it pick those up?
