I bought a cobra driver with the sensor built in and then while setting up the app found out that they will send me the rest of the sensors for free, waiting for them to show up now. I can’t wait to give it a try.

when does the review start?
I got the arccos for Christmas, and have now completed 11 rounds with it. Here's my pros and cons:
Cons:
1.it seems to struggle picking up "lightly-hit" shots (such as sand shots or putts). There's an edit mode, and you can add in the shot if it misses it (you just need to remember it)
2. You need to edit the hole placement on the green for each green so it is somewhat able to tell where you holed out. I believe you can just ignore it and it'll pick up the last putt, but i've just been opening it up on each green and manually sliding the hole to where i think it is on the green layout provided
3. This is the biggest one: it's only happened a couple of times, but if it misses a tee-shot on a hole, it wants to stay on that hole until it thinks you've properly played it. I might be able to ignore it, but when i pull the phone out to look at the hole i'm playing now, it'll go back to that hole it missed the shot on and it really frustrates the heck out of you. I'm sure there's something i could do to make it right manually, but i haven't figured it out yet
4. Phone in front pocket — i don't like it either, and i'm hoping that device they're making comes out soon. I'll definitely buy it when it does
Pros:
1. While tracking all of your shots, it shows a "handicap" for each facet of your game (driving, approach, chip, sand, and putting). This puts a HUGE NEON SIGN on what you're doing well and what you're not doing well. For me, i knew my chipping was lagging the rest of my game, but i had no idea it was as bad as it was. It caused me to completely change the way i approach chip shots, and the handicap # is coming down. I'm very pleased with that.
2. on the approach tracking, it'll keep up with how often you hit each club, and how often you hit greens in regulation with that club. Amazingly, i'm decent with my 7iron, 9iron and wedge, but my 8iron is lagging in performance behind those. It gives you something to work on at the range, or at the very least you know when you pull a club that each one might not be equal, even if the yardage # is right for the shot
3. The caddie function itself — taking into account the wind, elevation, temperature. This thing pulls up a GPS # and then gives you what the distance will "seem to be", and chooses the club for you based on past history. This function of the program is just incredible to behold in person. I'm a 5 handicap, so i know my game very well. But this thing has changed my mind on shots in ways i wasn't expecting on several occasions (and the shots have been successful!).
So after all that long post (sorry), even with the cons, i'm totally a fan and love it! And the more you play with it, the better the advice is that you get out of it. I'd suggest any golf geek that wants to improve their game or even just analyze their game to see their tendencies that this thing is worth the money.

Hi i think the Arccos Cadie is a huge step forward but is let down by the way is works. Because you need to keep your phone in your front pocket it feels unnatural for a golfer who keeps tees, markers and divot tools in the same place. Another small grumble is that you may, like me need to take the protective cover off your phone because this can stop the phone "hearing" shots. All of this will be eliminated when the new "link" hardware is eventually launched but this is already a year late.
Ok that is the bad news. The software works like a dream and even the wind direction indicator and green elevation is helpful. I am looking forward to using it in the summer to make me achieve more realistic club selection.
As it stands the Shot scope system is better because it captures data via a watch so uses passive sensors. The watch is a little prehistoric but gives you yardages and allows you to plot the cup. They have a new watch coming in a couple of months that promises to bring it up to date and their data analysis gets better all the time.

currenly using the golf pad tags, they are ok but not totally satisfied with them i may try the arccos caddy sometime.
very interested in getting it, and as you mentioned, the price seems super reasonable
