After 10 years İm here
i wonder if he's familiar with asmr and how he feels about it
Very interested!!
I completely agree! Great talk and I`m all for listening being taught in schools! Seek first to understand as opposed to being understood…this only happens through listening, and through listening we understand, through understanding we learn, and through learning we grow and ultimately become better individuals and a better society.

Great….concept RASA…
What does it mean nothing to do with what other people have or may have on there mind
Distraction it is used in a lot of scenarios like in communication listening to multiple people at the same time can mix conversation according to brain study for instance the is a crowd of people that has many different issues that they want to address a and the person listening only here's what is said the most also the person listening has a bias feeling about a issue they only want to handle that they only care about they will block out others
Like in no relation to whats on your mind
What is just listening to partial conversation
Wow really that is sarcasm
Fantastic man with fantastic speech….
Who was/is Ted?
I just watched the how to talk and wondered how I could listen better. I realize I only listen for a number of different reasons.

I believe every human being needs to listen consciously in order to live fully. Connected in space and in time to the physical world around us, connected in understanding to each other, not to mention spiritually connected because every spiritual path I have known has listening and contemplation at its heart. That is why we need to teach listening in our schools as a skill, why is it not taught?! It is crazy and if we can teach listening in our schools we can take our listening off that slippery slope to that dangerous scary world I talked about and move it to a place where everybody is consciously listening all the time or at least capable of doing that. So lets transfer the world into a world of conscious listening, A world of connection , a world of understanding and a world of peace.

Those people over at the speaking video won't learn much if they're not listening.
Did it happen? Dit they start teaching listening in schools?

Julian Treasure: "Why is it not taught? It's crazy."
Me: That is exactly. I should have learned this as far back elementary.
