Realm of Magic is not bad, but I have some gripes. Here’s some tips to get you started in the latest Game Pack. Why are they angry tips? Because it’s almost everything you need to know in one go. Some of this info may be useful in deciding if you are OK with the things I dislike.

I love the list more then I thought I would. To me it does kind of what it did with starwars. They cashed in on the name "wizards" and "magic" and didn't do much else. It's a 3 dollar dlc disguised as a 20 dollar one. The shop and green house I love the ideal of truthfully but both places are underwealming. The building in the center is cool and has some cool looking areas but it should not of been the main building there. It should be in either town somewhere as a kind of lounge, or around the magical world somewhere else. And it should not take my sim less then a in game hour to walk the entirety of the map. I'm not saying you have to build a hogwarts but damn that was disappointing. And the spells were severely overshadowed by the potions. I mean learn how to scrub your sing with your wand or learn how to cure again and death not a hard choice there. Honestly I think they should take a page from no mans sky and overhaul that crap. But one things that I did really disagree with was "sims is too easy" and I see it in the comments like crazy. As far as the mechanics of it goes your right but it's the sims the mechanics aren't meant to be difficult. If that is what you want might I suggest dwarf fortress. If you don't mind beating your head against your keyboard a few times that would easily solve that desire. But the sims is not neccarly easy becouse it's not narritivly driven like that. You are the narrator of your story that's the point. I also don't understand the statement as well. There is no difficulty for the game to begin with you are the only difficulty slider you'll find. Meaning the desions and situations you make impacts how hard it is to navigate through them and there are almost a endless amount of situations you can do. Basically put they can't make the story or game play any harder becouse you are suppose to make your own story. If they mess around with that too much then they have just broken what the sims is known for. The magic is simply there to help you do that. If you feel that it's boring and easy then that's becouse the story you have woven is boring and easy. You shouldn't be relying on a become a wizard quest to give you a full on narrative experience when they start doing that then they have just destroyed the whole point of the sims.
i actually really love rom, its one of my faves, but i can understand teh criticisms of it. fun fact, if you dont initially use your potions, wait till you have copypasto, and cast it on a potion then bingo infinate potions as long as you dont fail on the first one, however teh ones you get when you learn them are normal quality so if you want higher quality you gotta make em yourself
This video should be called "listen to me nagging about the realm of magic for 12 minutes" and not "10 Tips to Get Started in The Sims 4 Realm of Magic". I mean, if you dont like the game then don't play the game!

We do need more curses spells cross breeding with other occult’s and yeah the familiars could’ve had their own secret spells or something
Fun fact: learn the potion of plentiful needs and all it needs is one apple. Yes you heard that right one simple apple. And it refils EVERY need. You can also copy potions with the "copypasto" spell so make anything once and copy it forever
I was on a date and a random guy started flirting with one of my sim so I burned him and infatuated him with the ugliest sim on the lot.
Vampires can be fought using spells so they can’t feed on you or someone with you.
You can use the teleportation and burgliate spell to steal valuables at ppl houses. Works very well when you visit a celebrity.
There is a lot you can do with the spells and they’re pretty interesting. They are not the problem with this dlc.

Everything in Sims 4 is pointless
Hey Carl, I'm really excited about Sims and listening to you be so disappointing is a huge buzz kill. If you don't like the game then make your own mod that makes the game more challenging and makes everything exactly how you want the Sims to be. If you want something done right then do it yourself, stop complaining.
Realm of Magic could’ve been an extraordinary pack, it had the potential to be their best game pack but they lack motivation.

BTW, the familiars totally follow the Sims every move, they chill by the bed during woohoo, sit outside the shower while they clean themselves, and even follows them to work. They don't go away unless dissmissed.

I would like to find out if curse of Repulsiveness and effect this curse has will continue to work after saved your sim and when start new game used exact same sim.
For those may test this out recommend not using any cheats to apply the curse as for some reason curse effect don't repulse Sims even if icon curse displayed.
I surely curious if it will carry fowards after all any new game and downloading main sim evil spell caster be interesting to know if curse still works and effects npc Sims.

I always get potion recipies from sages so they give you one that's the best way to get a full set

I played for 4 hours and I don’t see any of this. No wands? I contacted EA and tried hours to repair the game. I went in and deleted all kinds of code files, and patch on my own and hour on chat still no magical things
