Was there 3months 20 yrs ago. It was great
i was in koh chang a few years ago, 2014 or 2015. i did not go as far back as white sand beach, was in one of the bungalow hotels a little closer. man, than was so idylic and relaxing, just renting a scooter, shitting my pants when i went up that winding 45° slope (having never sat on a scooter)… driving through the forest and listening to the animals at night. i would go there again in a heartbeat.

I have stayed there. when I was out there I only stayed in the beach bungalows. Yep the sausage was always hotdog sausage.
Thanks a lot for the positive review! I have been looking on this resort every time I have been there, but because of some bad reviews, I have choose other places to stay. But I have been walking on that beach many times and the northern part is my favorite part of White Sand Beach.
Favorite for the same reason you have , Paul. It is relative quiet without any hawkers on that part of the beach even in the high season. That part of the beach is softer and it is possible to swim without walking 200 meter out in the clay/mud as many other parts of the beach. The intro on my videos are shot very close to that resort. 😉
BTW. You forgot to tell the viewers that there is a stunningly beautiful sunset on that beach! And my next stay on Koh Chang might very likely be on that resort after many years of just looking at it.
My kind of vacation spot, and the price is amazing to me. Seeing the resort property and mostly all the footage you recorded so clean, barely even any footprints to be seen, definately worth making the arrangements necessary to stay there. Like you said, and others in the comments have posted, I can go find the ''nightlife'' when I want it. I prefer to keep my hotels and my partying in seperate locations. 😛
It looks like a nice place the beach out front and your review. So getting there was a challenge. Mel would not like the side of the mountain thing either. Well worth it. Best wishes Bob.
